Trees are being trimmed, pot holes are being filled, clogged basins are being pumped out, abandoned cars are being towed, and more.

Not happening on your street? Ask yourself these questions:
Did I call 311? Did I follow up? Did I email Jimmy and Pam about the problem?
If not, then don’t expect issues on your street to get repaired.

Robert Thompson sent in this photo of a clogged storm drain being pumped out today on Esplanade.

It’s that time of year again. Jazz Fest is fast approaching. Jimmy Fahrenholtz will again be ably assisted by his lovely wife and assistant Pam Butler. They had one of their most successful interactions with The Fest last year and they want to build on that success.

Should you know of potholes, streetlights, plugged drains, abandoned vehicles, etc., please get as much info to them as possible. Correct addresses are very important. Make, model and license number of cars are mandatory. And, each light pole has a unique number attached to it, so be sure to note that in your communications with Jimmy and Pam. A photo of the issue sent along with the information will make it easier to get the problem resolved.

Things that need to be repaired or corrected are their very first focus. However, they will be addressing parking, neighborhood access, illegal vending, crime, the NAT line and other issues in the next couple of weeks.

Please contact Jimmy or Pam
Their e-mail is
and Jimmy’s cell is 504-259-7495
